In August, I received three products from an indigenous company, AfroRiri Haircare. I got the Honey Moisturising Shampoo, Luxe Detangling Conditioner and the Luxe Hair Butter. I blogged about my First Impressions in this post.
Its been almost two months now, and I’ve really got to use them, so here I am with my review.
Well used. Shampoo- Conditioner- Hair Butter
First, what my hair is like
I have tightly coiled, ziggly 4C low-porosity hair. My individual strands are very fine and thin in texture, but they’re a lot, so I’m between medium-high density. I am not having any problems with my hair at the moment.
Let’s get to it!

AfroRiri Haircare is a new haircare brand “on a mission to develop the highest quality in hair care from nature.” Last week, I received three products from their line, for review purposes; the Honey Moisturizing Shampoo, the Luxe Detangling Conditioner and the Luxe Hair Butter.
AfroRiri products are made in Nigeria by House of Radiance, right here in Calabar! Knowing this makes me super excited to see how my hair likes them. 🙂
Okay, on to my first impressions.
These products look good. Simple functional bottles for the shampoo and conditioner, a tub for the butter, and labels that won’t peel off when wet.
The ingredient lists read okay. No sulfates, no parabens, no mineral oil. I love me my silicones, but it’s also worth noting that this line is silicone free.
